The Maritime International Forum (MIF) is a flagship European Youth Parliament (EYP) session taking place from April 21–28, 2027, across the Mediterranean coastal cities of Castellón and Valencia, Spain. Marking a major return of large-scale international EYP events to Spain after five years, the forum gathers 170 participants—including 120 delegates and 50 volunteers—from over 30 countries.
Under the theme “Keep Swimming: A Blue Future for Europe,” the session focuses on marine sustainability, coastal preservation, and Mediterranean environmental challenges. Discussions will center on pressing topics such as marine conservation, climate resilience, sustainable coastal economies, and technological innovation. Unique to this event is the integration of the “Blue Zones” concept, connecting human health, longevity, and strong community bonds with environmental stewardship and digital innovation.
